I was at school in grade 5, when the teacher told us. I was shocked, I had mixed feelings and emotions. I think this has changed the world because we have so much security at the airports, the metal detectors are more sensitve. People are more afraid to fly on planes now then they were before the 9/11 attack. They came over the announcements and explained what happened and i looked around and some people were in shock and some people did not event know what the World Trade Centres were.
When I went home all we did that night was watch the crashes on t.v, that was all that was on that night, if you flipped through the different channels that all that was on was George Bush talking about the plane crashes, and since it was on all channels people then thought we were under attack, and were asking them selves are we next?
Alan Jackson had made a song about September 11, 2001, many people may think that this sons is tacky, but me personally, I think that it is touching. He is showing that he cares, and he feels sorrow for those who lost loved ones in the September tragedy. In one part of the song he says "I watch CNN but I'm not sure i can tell the difference between Irag and Iran," personally i can not tell a difference either, and CNN is not helpind us find a difference, they are not telling us any history behind everything that has happend in the last 6-7 years.
